Thorny Rose 03:11
I walk outside, no reason why I need air Take out my gun, shoot it and run Get out of there And then I see, what could it be Oh no A princess in distress She needs help Get it yourself Where is your prince He's at the bar Good luck getting his attention You've done it before You have experience Shouldn't be too hard I think you're ridiculous, I can see through your bullshit I want to know why the flower can't close One day it will all get grey, and you'll regret it For now keep growing thorny rose Thorny rose I see you staring at me wide eyed Pull out your sword let's start a fight I'll go left, then I'll go right I lied Where is your prince He's at the bar Good luck getting his attention You've done it before You have experience Shouldn't be too hard I think you're ridiculous, I can see through your bullshit I want to know why the flower can't close One day it will all get grey, and you'll regret it For now keep growing thorny rose Thorny rose

12345 04:43
12345 more minutes 'til dinner's ready, 12345 more minutes 'til I leave, And I hope I'll bump into you at the train station, 12345 more minutes til the train comes. You make me sick to my stomach 12345 I can count on my fingers, The amount of times that you had me confused, 12345 I am starting to worry, 12345 more breathes to stay alive. You make me sick to my stomach 123456789

Morse 04:00
I stand on the corner of the street, waiting for a signal Standing patiently, waiting for a signal I want to break free, from this glass wall But there you watch me, and I'm waiting for a signal. I can use my tools, to break, break, break I can bang my fists, but I don't, I don't I choose to wait for a signal. There was a time, when you'd let me know, Thought we were, Ready to show, I guess I was wrong, And I'll crawl back into my hole, And I'll watch you crawl back to yours, And I'm waiting for a signal. I can use my tools, to break, break, break I can bang my fists, but I don't, I don't I choose to wait for a signal.

Picture This 03:20
Picture this I am walking down the aisle of a church, As I walk people are watching, please cover me in dirt Picture this I am talking, repeating the man's words Lifeless face, hidden expression I do, I'm yours, then you learn The ceremony has ended, Your little sister is so cute, In her flower dress she watches us go off on our honeymoon, We hop on a plane to Paris, the newlyweds hotel room, And I can't contain my excitement, You will be under my power soon, My fiance is doomed Picture this I am walking, Tombstone at each side, Following a large box, the man I married is inside Picture this two families, They've come from far and wide, To see their relative be laid down, They think that I will cry... I guess all I can think of, Is the pain that I have caused, Still I will move on now, I feel no remorse I'm sorry for your mother, I'm sorry for your sister
6.
Camouflage 03:49
Camouflage, I wake up to the light, That shines in my eyes, It blinds me, Camouflage, Hide my feelings through the lies, I'm scared what you'll think if I, Tell you why Whyyy Camouflage, I hide out in the night, It's prime time for my duties, Someone will die, Dieee Camouflage, Think I'm ready, Camouflage, I'm real sorry, Camouflage... Goodnightttt

about

Stomach Bug is the debut EP from local Melbourne/Naarm alternative rock band Babyccino, due to be released on the 16th of July 2021. Written by front-woman Alannah Sawyer, the EP features a selection of songs that tell stories of murder, internal conflict and loneliness. With playful melodies supporting clever lyrical tales, listeners embark on an emotional journey with many twists along the way. These narratives are illustrated through Alannah’s strong elegant vocals, thrilling drum fills, riveting bass lines and luscious saxophone.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people who are the traditional custodians of this Land of which this project was created. We would like to pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
